Who Am I?

Capitalizing on over 25 years of Theatre productions and eleven years in education, my professional theatre experience, expertise in Theatre Education, and my leadership as a theatre art director, I believe that I have a lot to share with both the Professional Theatre and Educational Communities.

Some of my key experiences that are relevant to this include:

~Real world theatre production experiences including Directing, Stage Managing, and Producing

~Creation of successful Theatre programs

~Technology skills

~Budget creation and operation

~Collaboration with specialists, administrators, teachers, community, and students

Many have described me as a stimulator and strategist or one who motivates by bringing out the best in others by always seeing the end result in mind and creating valuable relationships.  As a servant leader, I strive to invest in the success of everyone around me.  I believe that in order for any program to be successful everyone needs to work together in a cohesive manner.

My personal traits include self-confidence and integrity. I have a passion for taking on grave responsibilities, dealing with stressful situations, and generating confidence in others.  I believe everyone should be encouraged to push themselves as artists and never give up on their craft.  It is important for me to have confidence in myself as well as others to make good decisions for the program.  My integrity can be seen in my dependability, trustworthiness, and reliability. I maintain trusting relationships with my co-workers and usually get cooperation and support.

My greatest passion is sharing my knowledge and love for theatre. If it were not for my early educators I would not have pursued the art and found my solid place in this world contributing to Arts Education and Professional Theatre.  I enjoy challenges and am motivated to follow through with duties and projects such as planning, organizing, and caring out the day-to-day activities of a successful theatre arts program.
